The one true win in jQuery is/was the fact that you can get at a DOM element with 5 characters and a CSS selector. I wish JavaScript itself would just adopt a similar model. Think of how many CDN requests could be avoided globally every hour of every day…

I think one of my favorite things about iPadOS is the way it always shows me 57 notifications I already saw on my phone every time I unlock my iPad. Great stuff.
